Easter Weekend Guitar Extravaganza
Our first ever event was the Easter Weekend Guitar Extravaganza which took place in The Commercial Hotel, Wishaw.
The event ran on the 7th and 8th of April 2012 and featured workshops from 8 great teachers. The workshops were interspersed with live music and interactive student activities.
Below you can see some pictures and words from students about the event.
Review of the event by Laura Millar - "Andy, just wanted to say well done and thanks for really enjoyable and informative weekend at the Guitar Extravaganza. The standard of the workshops and demos were truly first class. All of the tutors were hugely knowledgable and had the ability to encourge and inspire. Each of the attendees I spoke to had taken something from the sessions whether they were beginners or had been playing for 20 years. Looking forward to next years!"
Review of the event by Stuart Ferguson - "Great weekend of lessons and a very low pressure environment. Excellent teachers who were willing to listen as well as talk and were very approachable. If you didn't understand something or wanted to know more they where more than happy to take you to one side and go over whatever was troubling you. Also excellent live jams and a rather good buffet was provided as well. "
